Team Wardens 🔦
> Rhys Vordur

A teenaged Warden-in-training, who does not find himself suited to the lifestyle. He longs to be brave, but finds himself held back by crippling anxiety at every turn.
Last Seen: Driving to his doom (home, for an upcoming class with Kalgyrad) after showing Mara how Mithae works.
> Mara Minerva Daley

Rhys’s only friend who isn’t a family member. She has a vested interest in learning about the world of the Extra-Normal (to Rhys’s chagrin).
Last Seen: Asking for details on the dragon-man, and then on Mithae. She may be up to something.
> Grammy Vordur

Rhys’s grandmother and guardian. Formerly a Warden. She wants him to become better and stronger than he is, despite himself, and as such can be stricter than either of them would prefer.
Last Seen: Picking up Rhys from the library.
> Kalgyrad (a.k.a the Dragon-Man)

A shape-shifting dragon, here to strike a deal for cooperation between some of his race and the locals—which in this case is the Vordurs.
Last Seen: Offering a deal to the Vordurs, including possibly tutoring Rhys.
> Llewellyn Vordur

Rhys’s older cousin, who he looks up to as a brother. Currently in college studying civil engineering while also juggling his position in the Warden family, and doesn’t have a lot of time to come back and visit.
Last Seen: Being discussed by Grammy. Will be at their house for the weekend.
Team CENCA ðŸŽ
> Agent Jeanne Townford

A field agent and weapons specialist at CENCA. Her career has been… suffering lately, but that didn’t stop her from agreeing to harbor a wrongly-accused fugitive in her house (and then panicking about it). She wants to help those in need find justice, if they can’t find mercy.
Last Seen: Panicking and offering an extra guest a place to stay in her house / opening the door for Moira, Stanton, and Talsic.
> Lead Agent Percival Stanton

The lead agent over the ‘field wings’ of the local CENCA base, and Jeanne’s direct supervisor and partner. He’s worried about her as she’s become more reckless and is exhibiting signs of burnout and depression, so he’s meddling a little too close for comfort for any fugitives in the area. Wants to be the best leader possible for his team. Definitely has a crush on Jeanne.
Last Seen: Helping Jeanne with dishes and letting her know she doesn’t have to worry about his coffee offer right now. Also standing outside her door.
> Calernon Agrabeth

Technically a teenager in dragon years, he was on the scene of a horrible crime, fled, and is now being accused of treason and murder. Which is a bummer, because that means he’s not allowed to leave the house and make friends with all these humans and extra-normals. But he trusts Jeanne to help him, and wishes he could help her back.
Last Seen: Asking to meet the new potential friend, and then asking Jeanne if she has a plan to help him.
> Talsic Feldspar
Who is he really? That’s the question. He used to live in ‘the mountains’ and somehow ended up in Canada in front of Jeanne’s door.
Main notable features are his rock-like skin, crystalline horns which give him extra senses, and large, pupiless eyes.
Last Seen: About to confide something to Jeanne, then taken back to the CENCA Guesthouse. Now returned to her doorstep.
> Moira Bentley

Junior researcher/communications specialist at CENCA’s local base. She’s friendly and social, but not close with anyone there—except maybe Drake Welder. Is very careful about her appearance, and really wants a cat. Earning her superiors’ trust would be a nice bonus, too.
Last Seen: Talking with the surprise guest (Talsic) and helping conversations to keep going.
