In order, more or less, of appearance.
Team Wardens 🔦
> Rhys Vordur

A teenaged Warden-in-training, who does not find himself suited to the lifestyle. He longs to be brave, be a good Warden, but finds himself held back by crippling fear at every turn.
Last Seen: Ran off into the woods and had a one-sided conversation with Jask; has built up the courage to head back to the house.
> Mara Minerva Daley

Rhys’s only friend who isn’t a family member. She has a vested interest in learning about the world of the Extra-Normal (to Rhys’s chagrin). Smart, brave, ride-or-die, and ready to challenge existing norms.
Last Seen: Wishing Rhys well in having to now deal with his Grammy.
> Grammy Vordur

Rhys’s grandmother and guardian. Formerly a Warden. She wants him to become better and stronger than he is, despite himself, and as such can be stricter than either of them would prefer.
Last Seen: Pushing to find out what was upsetting Rhys, and dealing with his resistance a little harshly for his sensibilities.
> Kalgyrad (a.k.a the Dragon-Man)

A shape-shifting dragon, here to strike a deal for cooperation between some of his race and the locals—which in this case is the Vordurs. He seems to have his own agenda, and Rhys does not trust him.
Last Seen: Healing Rhys’s fractured ankle, but at the price of a few deals.
His presence at the Vordur household is impending, though.
> Llewellyn Vordur

Rhys’s older cousin, who he looks up to as a brother. Currently in college studying civil engineering while also juggling his position in the Warden family, and doesn’t have a lot of time to come back and visit.
Last Seen: Listening in on the Mithae class, and being intrigued by the Dragon-Man.
> Jask, a Pikur

An extra-normal, an illdĂ˝r, who showed up in Rhys’ room unannounced—despite the magic defenses set up by Grammy. Claims to be an ally. Has limited ability and/or time to talk.
Last Seen: Warming Rhys’s feet and giving him an outlet to talk.
Team CENCA 🔑
> Agent Jeanne Townford

A field agent and weapons specialist at CENCA. Her career has been… suffering lately, but that didn’t stop her from agreeing to harbor a wrongly-accused fugitive in her house (and then panicking about it). She wants to help those in need find justice, if they can’t find mercy.
Last Seen: After her meeting with Drake goes a little more… suspiciously than planned, she receives a reply from the Appalachian division of this world’s CENCA.
> Lead Agent Percival Stanton

The lead agent over the ‘field wings’ of the local CENCA base, and Jeanne’s direct supervisor and partner. He’s worried about her as she’s become more reckless and is exhibiting signs of burnout and depression, so he’s meddling a little too close for comfort for any fugitives in the area. Wants to be the best leader possible for his team. Definitely has a crush on Jeanne.
Last Seen: Re-settling her into her job, and delivering the bad news that the Board is upset with her.
> Calernon Agrabeth

Technically a teenager in dragon years, he was on the scene of a horrible crime, fled, and is now being accused of treason and murder. Which is a bummer, because that means he’s not allowed to leave the house and make friends with all these humans and extra-normals. But he trusts Jeanne to help him, and wishes he could help her back.
Last Seen: Discovering that he can’t remember part of his escape from the Citadel.
> Talsic Feldspar
Who is he really? That’s the question. He used to live in ‘the mountains’ and somehow ended up in Canada in front of Jeanne’s door.
Main notable features are his rock-like skin, crystalline horns which give him extra senses, and large, pupiless eyes.
(colored sketch still pending)
Last Seen: Being a little too okay with keeping the break-in a secret from the authorities.
> Moira Bentley

Junior researcher/communications specialist at CENCA’s local base. She’s friendly and social, but not close with anyone there—except maybe Drake Welder. Is very careful about her appearance, and really wants a cat. Earning her superiors’ trust would be a nice bonus, too.
Last Seen: Helping with recording Jeanne’s statement.
> Zhang Mei (aka Mrs. Mei)

Custodian at CENCA’s district headquarters. Decent but not fully fluent in English. Has a daughter in the States. Can be a bit stubborn or cantankerous but is generally kind, and has a soft spot for Jeanne (and young things in general).
Last Seen: Giving Jeanne her set of keys and disappearing to go on vacation.
> Cyrus Croft

An older gentleman, the semi-official right-hand man to Stanton, and engineering lead. Typically helps with administrative stuff and coordinating between teams, and consulting about infrastructure. Still listed as a field agent, but mostly stays at CENCA’s district headquarters.
Last Seen: Coming in to Stantons office to discuss details of running the Field Agent department.
> Drake Welder

One of the field agents and primary consultants on Mithae. Prefers to work in a lab and test out new rewrites and innovations, but is a solid worker. Somewhat elusive, but typically friendly. Spends most of his time in the Basement at CENCA’s district headquarters.
Last Seen: Acting a little suspicious during the check-up for the Deprehender.
> Dr. Holley Laurent

The head of the medical staff quartered at CENCA’s base. She’s been there longer than probably anyone else, and has become very entrenched and a little bitter towards the younger generation. Her general reputation is as someone difficult to get along with, but who no one really wants to fire due to her seniority. Uses a little too much perfume.
Last Seen: Hasn’t appeared yet. Jeanne has to get permission and a check-up from her before she can see the board-mandated psychologist.
